The GATE 2019 Result would be released by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras on Saturday, as stated on the official website.
However, looking at the past trend, the result for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2019 might be release late on Friday as well.
Checking GATE 2019 Result
In order to check the results, students who appeared for the examination have to visit the official website (gate.iitm.ac.in).
There will be a link ‘gate 2019 result’ on the homepage.
After clicking on the link, students can log-in using the registration number and password.
Once the result is released, it will appear after logging in.
Students can also download the result and take a print out for future reference.
The qualified candidates can download them from 20 March onwards till 31 May, 2019.
After that, it can be obtained as a soft copy until the end of the year with the late fee of Rs 500.
GATE 2019 Examination
IIT, Madras conducted the Gate 2019 examination in eight shifts on 2nd , 3rd, 9th and 10th February, 2019.
GATE 2019 consisted of questions on technical stream-wise concepts, engineering maths and general aptitude and was to be completed in a total time of 180 minutes.
Two days back, final answer keys for the GATE 2019 examination were released.
The GATE examination is an entrance gateway for opting for post-graduation or direct doctoral degree in engineering, technology, architecture and in other branches of science at Indian Institute of Science and the IITs.
The GATE score is also used for recruitment process in government organisations such as cabinet secretariat, national and state public sector undertakings in India.
GATE qualified candidates with good scores are paid scholarships or assistantship, especially funded by the ministry of human resources development and by other ministries.
The scorecards are uploaded at GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS).
The GATE result remains valid for three years from the date of declaration of result.
